i was born and raised in massachusetts and have lived here all my life so i know something of a long drought and what it feels like to lose faith in your team. but the red sox proved what can happen if the team doesnt give up and from watching the skins this year i think we all know there not quiting. having said that the nfc is so terrible this year that we are only two games back of the last wild card spot at 2-5 pretty pathetic but true. i think the skins will start to show some offensive improvement very soon and hopefully if some of the breaks go our way we could make a strong run at the wild card.

That might be a little far fetched, but I would love to see it. Thanks for positive your outlook.

* I am extremely happy for all the Red Sox fans. I'm a White Sox fan, so I can definetly relate.

Thanks for the thought kickazz, but I'm not sure the redsox exactly give me the solace I need right now. i'm not trying to wait 73 more years for another superbowl.

I think we have another year before we talk playoffs, but thanks for your positive and encouraging words...........

My NBA team persevered through many a year too..............and won 2 championships in the last 3 years........although on the negative side.....there's the cubbies.......
