I thought that he was done for good. Shows what I know.

About as much as the Olympics. When it's Lance Armstrong and the Tour De France, you do. I am not saying that I am an avid bike racing fan, but deep down I always want the US to stomp everyone at everything.

Re: Lance Armstrong is Back

There is just something about the Tour de France that gets me to watch it on TV. And the Tour needs Lance Armstrong much, much more than Lance needs the Tour, so this is a win-win for all those involved, whether he wins the title or not.

Well the French hate Lance and the fact that he beats them at their own game. I don't sit around and watch but it fun to track how is doing and watching the French freak out.

Watching the Olympics must have lit a fire in him. He loves to compete and win. He and Farve should have dinner together.

You can bet your ass I will!

ha ha ha.... sigh.

Seriously though, he retired at a convenient time, given all the doping speculation. Maybe he wanted to let the heat die down?

I think it has more to do with the fact that the sport he loves has taken two black eyes and swift kick to the nutts. Maybe he wants the sport to be lifted back to it's lofty heights when he won 7 in a row.
