Resident Evil 5 Demo
If you have a xbox 360 and a gold memebership you need to down load this game! Oh man it was fun!
I can't wait for the game to come out.

Re: Resident Evil 5 Demo
Is it only going to come out on Xbox? I just finished Bioshock on PS3 and I'm going to need a new obession pretty soon.
*EDIT - nope, it'll be on PS3 as well. Word to your mother - Vanilla Ice style!

Re: Resident Evil 5 Demo
I loved RE4, hopefully this one is just as good if not better.

Re: Resident Evil 5 Demo
I bought it for PS2 and literally couldnt get past the first dude with a chainsaw. I only tried a handful of times, but I got so annoyed that I never played it again, and I've since moved on to a PS3.
Maybe I should go back and give it another whirl.

Re: Resident Evil 5 Demo
I down loaded the new Tomb Raider and it looks really good as well. I love when you have to climb up like a million diffrent types of cliffs to get where you want and you know if you make one false step you are screwed and will have to start over.

Re: Resident Evil 5 Demo
What if you have a PS3? Oh and is the dialog the same corny crap from RE4? I'm a huge Resident Evil fan, been one since 1997 with the original but Resident Evil 4's just made me crazy with not only a depressing uninteresting environment (the graphics were great but a castle?) and a lackluster story just ruined the game for me. The gameplay also wore down for me midway through the game.
I have to say though I'm excited about this one as the story not only ties in loose ends from so many other places within the series but the plot itself actually looks very interesting.

Re: Resident Evil 5 Demo
Just downloaded the demo for PS3 and WOW. The game is nothing short of beautiful in the graphics department. I can already tell that this time around the story will be a lot better then RE4 but the whole "Aww sh*t I'm going down f**k" was a little over the top. Also it seems like a monkey designed the control scheme that or I got to used to Dead Space especially the run and shoot aspect. However I liked how there never seemed to be enough ammo as it definitely made things more tense then the last installment where you seemed to have enough ammo to supply the troops in Iraq. I'm actually starting to regret pre-ordering Killzone 2. Looks like COD WAW is going to be a trade in for me. Either way I'm getting this on March 19th. And since it's two weeks after Killzone it'll definitely give me enough time to save up the money.

Re: Resident Evil 5 Demo
Some pretty good reviews on Amazon.com sounds like I will wait and buy a used one. One of my fav things about the RE series were the puzzles and hidden junk in the game that helped the story unfold, now it seems since RE4 the series has become more of just a shooter, which is fine I guess. I remeber playing (still have the game) RE one in college when it first came out. Man my grades dipped for about a month. That game was just so damn cool!

Re: Resident Evil 5 Demo
I played RE5 over the weekend. Graphically it's one of the best games I've seen. But the control system is so stiff and clunky it totally ruins the game for me. Back to GameFly with this one. Pretty disappointing.

How do you like Game Fly? I thinking about asking for that for my b-Day. How much you pay? I think I only need one disk at a time. I need to get Dead Space!

Re: Resident Evil 5 Demo
Hello, folks. I'm new here & this is gonna be my very first post here. Let me just start by saying "Hail to the Redskins" & "Cowboys suck!"
Ok, now that that's out of the way (for now), I absolutely LOVED RE5. I know the controls were basically the same as before, but that was part of what I love about it. It separates it from the rest of the games in this category. The graphics are awesome, the gameplay was great, IMO~I thoroughly enjoyed this game. The horror element in this series has shifted a bit. In RE2, my favorite in the series, the horror was not exactly knowing what was coming around the next corner. The Tyrant made it all the scarier when you played the "B" part of the game. When RE4 came out, they changed the horror element to, "you know what's coming, we dare you to stop them." In RE5, that pretty much continued with the added "here's a few dozen more Las Plagas & Euro-Zombies then before...don't run out of ammo. haha" This game was crazy good. Out of a 10 rating, I give it...a 10. |
