Re: 2009 Free Agents
He could go back to Indy or Grilliams might take him in NO.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
I GOT IT!!!! We fix our O-Line with the following
LT - Joe Thomas LG - Logan Mankins C - Nick Mangold RG - Davin Joseph RT - Jason Peters We manage to pull this off and our O-line will be set for the next 5 years. After the mandatory Pierson Prioleau signing of course.

Really would take care of a need, unless of course pass rushing ability is considered a big part of that need.

I may go into mourning for awhile. I knew it was coming and I still feel like I've been punched in the gut. DAMNIT!

Re: 2009 Free Agents
Wow, I thought Carey was almost a lock to get big money thrown at him by the Vikings.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
Apparently his rehab is going well. Due to his injury we could probably get him on the cheap, sort of a "wait and see" deal as PFT put it. I don't know though. Given our recent injury woes along the O-line, I would really worry about signing a guy coming off a torn ACL.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
No. Dude has injury issues. If we're going to "settle" for an injury prone guy I'd have much rather restructured Marcus.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
wheres lemar marshall when you need him. kinda wish we had keep him around to be a spot starter for rock, MW and fletcher . . our LB corps is very thin as i dont consider blades ready to step in if one of our starters goes down for more than a game or two.
so is it safe to assume that now we have a starting hole to fill in the OLB position? or do you think we dont bring anyone of real impact in and let blades gets the chance to compete for the job against whatever bodies we bring into camp? man MW leaving really sucks. i understand the biz but it really sucks. go skins!!

Re: 2009 Free Agents
I think I heard somewhere that the Bears were taking a look at him. Oh well.

Sad to see Marcus go. His heart will be missed, but I'm sure he understands the business behind this.
