Alfred Fincher signed

Just saw on NFL network that Alfred Fincher signed. I hope this is not our LB solution. What do you guys think?

Looks good in preseason... then we never see him again. Who cares.

Not bad for depth and special teams. Nothing more.

Re: Alfred Fincher signed

I actually think he's pretty good. He's a pro bowler in preseason then he gets benched.
Solid speical teams player, thats about it.

Not sure about that, Pierce was a starter almost from the get go.

Yes!!! Sweet!!! We have retained a preseason Pro Bowler! It's about time! WAHOO! Now if only we would have kept Marcus Mason and Billy McMullen.

if I remember correctly Antonio was a special teamer until that contract year..I might be wrong but the stats bear it out..

Antonio Pierce: Career Stats

as a rookie he had 52 tackles.. thats only 3.25 a game as a standout on ST in 2001...then almost nothing until '04..then the big contract w/NY in '05

in '01 it was Lavar..Shawn Barber and Kevin Mitchell at LB playing for Shotty

You could be right, I thought Pierce got at least a lot of playing time.

Started 8 games as a rookie, Marty loved him.

The rest, as they say, is history.
