I'd rather see which of these lil rb/kr's we have if they could do something, unless there's just no possibility at LB or OL in the 3rd

Is it TOO MUCH to ask that we wait till NEXT offseason too talk about what we should do IF JC struggles??? Please?

Yup. Garrard looked a lot better in 2007 when their line was actually blocking. Smart too, because I think Britton will definitely be better as a RT. Good for them. Jones-Drew is loving this.

About your previous post, well, like the quote I provided, as a reporter, you can't report something that is untrue. You haven't provided any proof of Campbell refuting it, therefore you must assume it is correct until proven otherwise.

All in all, I suppose it doesn't really matter. We got who I REALLY wanted in Orakpo, and nothing is going to change that. Don't care how it happened, just that it did. I'm thrilled!
What? Have you heard that Raji failed his drug test?

If Campbell was in on the ploy, OF COURSE he did not refute it.

So much for that, there goes Pat White.

Pat White to the Dolphins. That's too perfect. They are getting pretty log jammed at QB though.

Exactly my point earlier, he had his poker face on.

Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion

Oh and the Giants just took Clint Sintim... sorry to bum out everyone who was hoping he'd somehow fall to us. The Giants are actually having themselves a decent draft so far... I guess we'll just hope another one of their stars has some horrible random breakdown.

In no way would I think, given his less than out spoken nature, that he would respond with an angry rebuttal that he was falsely quoted.
Yes. It has been pointed out before that it would be quite out of character for JC to be demanding a trade that way, especially when his "competition" had not even been drafted yet!

Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion

Help me out here with the Browns trade -- as I understand it, they trade out of the #5 spot for the Jets #17, in return they get the Jets' 2nd round pick and some players. Then, they trade two spots down with the Bucs, and then trade two spots down again with the Eagles.

For moving down those two spots, they picked up only a sixth round pick from both the Bucs and Eagles.

Am I missing something here? Was there more to the story? I know there's a numerical chart which assigns value for each pick, but it just seems like that was a small price for the Bucs and Eagles to pay. If I'm a Browns fan, I don't like moving down a total of 4 spots in the first round for two lousy 6th round picks.
