A Super Bowl win this year/A.Haynesworth?

Lets say AH leads the team to a Super Bowl win this year. What does that do for him and the expectation of living up to his contract?

The way we(Redskin Nation) hunger for a winning season from D.Snyder all the way down to me the fan. Will winning a Super Bowl allow Big Al to have mediocre tenure with us, and have it be alright?

Is a Super Bowl worth $100 million?

If I understand the question -

A SB alone, with bad follow on seasons. No, that would not be worth it.

But what I see as happening and "worth it", is having a dominant line for the next 3-5 years with consistent playoff contention, and at least 1 SB.

Of course even just a SB would be hard to argue with

AH will not be making 100 million dollars. He will be lucky if he collects two thirds of that contract and if he dominates this year and we win it all you better believe I think it's worth it.

I agree. I don't think AH would just relax for the rest of his career anyhow. He wants to be known as one of the best to ever play and one SB followed by a lousy career wouldn't cut it. But right now..a SB win is worth just about anything.

I know it may sound shortsighted, but I agree too. I just want a ring in my lifetime hah.

I say let's win the Super Bowl first and worry about let-downs later!

Lets say he doesn't ,would you be willing to go the other way, would you say he was a failure?
Point ,one man (player)does not make or break the season.

The 100 mil isnt comin out of my pocket. If Fletcher doesnt have a carreer season and our run stopping doesnt improve, Hes a failure.

Re: A Super Bowl win this year/A.Haynesworth?

A huge hypothetical of course, but if the Skins won it all this year and AH played a big role in that, how could anyone say he wasn't worth it?? A SB win is priceless.

DS doesn't care. If they win think about all the merchandise that would be sold, bought up by us fans, hats, jackets, t-shirts, jerseys, everything. He would make the money three fold.

This is not even a question... 1 Super Bowl would be worth every red cent the guy gets.

Re: A Super Bowl win this year/A.Haynesworth?

To sweep Dallas alone would be worth it to me. I'm surrounded by Dallas fans. To win a Super Bowl I'd cheer DS on to mortgage his soul. The trash I would talk to my co-workers would be non-stop and worth every penny that I haven't spent.
