Potential Epic Fail
I am talking about next week against Detriot. It is very likely we are going to lose. They seem better then the Rams and we will be playing them at their house.
It is going to be horrible if we lose that game. The media will be all over it.

I dont think the Skins will lose but like the Rams game it will be a nail-biter.

Re: Potential Epic Fail
I am not saying we will or will not lose. But if we do, Zorn will be fired the next day.

Re: Potential Epic Fail
Oddly enough we are 6.5 point favorites right now. I am sad to say it but based on how I feel right now i am kind of tempted.....

Re: Potential Epic Fail
The sky is not falling. I wish people would stop panicking, what Zorn and the Redskins need to do is work on scoring in the RedZone, go back to fundamentals and use our big receivers.

Re: Potential Epic Fail
Lions are a better offense and a team, IMO, than the Rams. We are going to have to put up points to win.
This will be an interesting game.

Re: Potential Epic Fail
You are certainly looking at the possibility of the Lions being favored by 2 1/2 or so despite losing 19 straight. They have some weapons on offense too. Kevin Smith put up 83 against a very good Minnesota defense and Calvin Johnson is a top five wide receiver in the league. If Johnson ever gets matched up with D. Hall that is serious trouble. Matthew Stafford might make some mistakes, but the Redskins have trouble capitalizing on those, and he will take some shots. Despite the final score, the Skins even struggled with them last year. Never mind the media being all over it, the Warpath servers will shut down if they lose to Detroit.

Re: Potential Epic Fail
I agree that the sky is not falling, but the Redskins loose against the Lions if they get into the red zone 4 times and only walk away with 9 points. The defense is the only reason why won yesterday. Zorn needs to worry about, work on, and fix the red zone offense this week. I don't think that it is necessarily the fundamentals they need to work on rather than the play calling in those situations...

Re: Potential Epic Fail
we are sooo in need of a slump buster. Detroit could just be it. I agree with others though, if we lose, Zorn can probably start packing. The thing with Zorn is, be aggressive. If you're going to go down, don't go down with bullets left in the clip. I'm tired of this conservative bullshit. I almost wish we'd play an entire game without running the ball. Why not?
