Listening to Zoe Alexander and DHall on Comcast, it seems like a foregone conclusion that Campbell's days are numbered as a Washington Redskin.

Re: Is Campbell Officially Headed Out The Door?

I'm starting to think that we should ask JC what he wants to do (either stay and learn for a year under Shanahan and wait for better starting jobs to open up in 2011 or try to find a job now). We owe him that much considering all the crap he's had to put up with. Part of the reason McNabb is a Redskin right now and not an Eagle is because the Eagles didn't want to "totally screw him over." On top of that we have very little leverage anyway in dealing with teams. I mean does he even want to go to Buffalo? I think Oakland would rather continue the Russell experiment.

So you have McNabb at starter, backup #1 JC, and backup #2 SexyRexy?

I think JC would want to go some team where he has the chance to start.

I would guess he would rather start for Buffalo then backup here.

The new regime doesn't owe him anything.

Sucks for JC but that's life in the NFL

Thank goodness. That's better than the whole fiasco with Cutler where Campbell was left to read about it in the papers.

His best chance is just stay in shape incase someone gets hurt and that's his way back in the league.

I also doubt that any team would give anything for him. JC, in all truthfulness, would probably only net a 3rd or 4th round pick...

Maybe somebody should make a "Thank You Jason" thread? totally not being sarcastic. I was never a fan of his, but he was classy and always handled himself professionally...
I don't know. As a starter probably not strong interest, as a backup yeah.

Plus you know Shanny wants to draft a developmental QB for the #3 slot. JC is gone.

Re: Is Campbell Officially Headed Out The Door?

This kind of reminds me of when McNabb pulled Campbell in after that game and had a short talk with him. I remember posting that we knew it was him saying man keep your head in there and work hard, I've been going through the same thing for years.

What a change.
