Anyway, for my part, he would be a good addition considering we have no 2nd round pick or 3rd round pick. Some of you complainers and whiners who say NO to everything you just don't seem to understand, need to understand this. Whenever you have a hole to fill, you can say no only until the game starts and then you MUST fill that hole, regardless of whether you like a player or not.

Give me a Pro Bowl player to fill a starting slot and I will take it every time.
How did Roy Williams make it all of those times? There's a huge Cowboy following across the country and in the media.

The guy was pretty good up until a few years ago. Since then he just hasn't played at nearly the same level. 2008 he just piggybacked his previous PB appearances.

it's funny how everyone has a different opinion on this guy .. I say PASS on this move, it just smells of Vinny Cerrato and that's not our style anymore

This is accurate. Guy is now average at best, which is still better than Heyer, but, he's a dirtbag cowboy that cheats. We can find a better option.

JUST SAY NO SHANAHAN.

Agreed, some are to emotionally invested. Who cares what uniform someone else wore before they came to Washington.

You have to admit, you have 2 players of the same position. Same age, same contract, same talent all around. One has been a Cowboy for an extended period of time, and the other has been playing for the KC Chiefs. I think u go with the player from the Chefs. There is a reason that the Redskins - Cowboys are the greatest rivalry in all of football. Its because we hate all that is silver and gray, and wouldn't dare take their leftovers.

Cm'on now.

It may be that Shanny doesn't hold the same feelings of contempt towards everything Dallas as we lifelong fans do. He just started here. But hopefully, Snyder will let him in on the secret. WE HATE DALLAS!

So all the cowboys are terrible. They only make pro bowls because everybody is a cowboy fan. And of course we lose all our games because the refs are against us.

What I meant was it is just surprising to hear those types of things from a tried and true redskin fan.

We need to sign somebody that's for damn sure. Even if we draft Okung, we still need another starting tackle not named Stephon Heyer.

[QUOTE=Mattyk;684885]I wouldn't be against it. And no I don't care about him being an ex-Cowboy. If he can be a short term solution at RT I say go for it.

Re: Flozell Adams at right tackle?

Here is one possibility that could occur, at least with the way Shanny is thinking.

Flozell Adams is signed....Okung is gone at #4...so the Redskins trade down and somehow pick up Marshall. I have no idea what draft picks get swapped but getting Adams for left tackle along with McNabb at QB will significantly improve the likelyhood that Shanny will want Marshall. We still need an offensive lineman in the draft however.

With Marshall and Thomas as wideouts and Santana in the slot it seems like the Skins might have the most potent passing attack in the NFL....if the offensive line is improved.
that doesn't even take Davis and Cooley into consideration.

Re: Flozell Adams at right tackle?

Definitely not Flozell at LT, i can see RT, but not LT. Here is one possibility. Trade down with san fran for both of their 1st rounders for our 1st and 4th rounder, then, we use the 13th pick for Bulaga or Anthony Davis of Rutgers, or the USC LT Brown, and trade the 17 for marshall, strait up.

Could that work? If Suh drops, or Okung is there, would San Fran be interested in either of those guys? That would be a daggon good draft for us. Then, if we can scratch out a 2nd or 3rd for Campbell and some others, and go G or BPA, this could be one of the best offseasons ever for the skins.

I just keep envisioning this tho.

Carter Haynesworth Suh Orakpo

Best D Line in NFL History right off the bat. Ridiculous.

Re: Flozell Adams at right tackle?

I could care less about him being a former cowboy. He is a liability with penalties and we need to seriously address the o-line and stop trying to put a patchwork together.
