I think the TE's will stack up like this. Cooley and Davis as our starters. Sean Ryan will come in as blocking TE. Morris will mostly be used as a FB or H-back role. This undrafted free agent will probably be fore depth or be cut in camp. We don't have Yoder anymore. I don't think this is a bad thing.

Check out Morris's highlight reel. I think he is going to be really good.

At 6'2", 265 lbs, he has the prototypical FB/H-back build.

Dennis Morris Highlights
Wow the guy plays with a nasty mean streak. For what its worth, he looks like a beast.

Taking a look at how Saturday's moves impact other Redskins

Redskins Insider - Your daily source for news and commentary on the Washington Redskins, by Jason Reid

UPDATED at 1:55 p.m.

We could be staring at a couple of slow news days for the Redskins, but hopefully later today we'll have a longer list of the team's undrafted free agents. For now, we know they've locked up the following players:
Ohio State safety Anderson Russell
UCLA tight end Logan Paulsen
Eastern Arizona defensive tackle Marques Slocum
Wisconsin linebacker Jaevery McFadden
LSU running back Keiland Williams

Let's take a moment and address this year's draft class and yesterday's maneuvering a bit more closely. More specifically, let's see what it means for other Redskins.

He might eventually be an upgrade all over the place. In any short yardage, goal line situations, running plays he will be involved. With Sellers and Morris we finally have two mean stout shit kickers that can play at TE/FB/H-back postions.
I see Cooley's play time getting cut into as well in short yardage and certain run plays.
I know Morris played against weak competition in college. But what really impressed me with Morris beside his physical play is his hands and speed and ability to track the ball in the air. When he went out in motion and played as a wide out he showed some great eye to ball to hand skills potential that only great receivers have. He is a big project, but great upside. I like this pick.

With Shanny running the show there will be stiff competition at all positions, they have no loyalty to any of this group. Only the best will survive as it should be.

Expect the unexpected.

Our weakness at TE is we did not have a Mark Bavaro/Don Warren type that will run over or at least give LB's a long day. We have great receiver type TE's but not great run blockers. Fred Davis is showing signs of steping up as a blocker. With Davis, Sellers, new guy Ryan and now potential of rookie Morris we have some run blockers.
These role type players is what our roster has been lacking since Snyder took over. Good to see Shanahan and Allen understand their value.

I think the TE situation is being blown out of proportion. After Cooley and Davis we have Sean Ryan, Lee Vickers, and UDFA Logan Paulsen. I think Dennis Morris is going to be used more as a FB/HB, so i'm not going to add him to the list. We need 3 TE's on the roster, so, in essence, it's a battle between Ryan, Vickers, and Paulsen for the 3rd TE spot. I don't think it has anything to do with Cooley or Davis, we're just looking for that 3rd TE.

I agree....And I also like the way he sustains his blocks yards down the field. He's a good receiver (can probably even split him out wide in some formations) his YAC and strength is ideal for a player of his positions. Hope he develops as well, if he does we have a real player on our hands.

On top of those Undrafted free agents we are also bringing in for tryouts Klint Kubiak CB(i think) out of CSU and WR Derrick Townsel from Murray State who looks fast as hell
