Re: Undrafted Free Agents Signed
Did you watch the game? Dude was punking him the whole time.. doing push-offs the pile, grinding guys into the ground, etc.. then did it again after the game. I've almost never seen anyone more worthy of getting it on the field.

Re: Undrafted Free Agents Signed
Has anyone signed either of these guys as a free agent yet? OT- Tony Washington, Abilene-Christian or WR- Danario Alexander, Missouri

Blount didn't help himself by continuing to wil' out after the incident, that was the bigger deal to me. As far as a cheap shot, bullshit, the guy turned him around then got caught with one. It wasn't that he didn't see it coming, he just didn't react in time.

Don't think so. Alexander can't pass a physical right now, I don't think. So that's probably holding him back

Re: Undrafted Free Agents Signed
Wow, i dont even see Batch making the final roster unless Pittsburg goes with 4 QBs while Rothlesberger is on suspension. Batch is 35 years old. The Steelers could release him and he wouldnt even get a sniff from another team. If The Steelers were confident in him, they wouldnt have traded for Leftwich. Dixon is a guy Tomlin likes. He and Leftwich will probably battle it out to be the #1 and #2 guys during Rothlisbergers suspension.

interesting point for sure.... but keep in mind, between injuries and years as a back up, his legs are much fresher with much lower miles than Donovan McNabb. in fact, i'd MUCH rather have him as the backup in washington than INT-machine Rex.

Re: Undrafted Free Agents Signed
Maybe it's Tony's character thats the issue. Although I don't see a problem with it since we have others on the team with questionable character now. lol.

The surgery to repair the cartilage is the fourth operation he’s had on his left knee in less than three years. The first three were all ACL tears. ACL injuries aren't the career-enders they were 20 years ago. Nine in 10 athletes will recover after tearing the ligament the first time. It's the second time that does people in. Only three or four Missouri football players in the last 20 years have continued their MU careers after tearing an ACL twice. No one has come back after three. More than the physical trauma that surgery brings, it's the mental anguish of recovery that's often too much.

Re: Undrafted Free Agents Signed
^Three knee sugreies to the same knee? If this guys wants to be able to walk when he is 30 he should not play in the NFL. I do not care how physically talented he is , his knee will not hold up to the rigors of the NFL. There is more to life than football...like walking.

Moss Thomas Kelly (with knee issue's also) Mitchell (in training to be a R.Moss type) Alexander (on the PS getting healthy) If and when he's healthy enough bring him along slowly and get him up to speed. That would give us one vet and several young (hopefully) talented WR's for the future. |
