Re: Drunk Thread
I've actually never tried Ardbeg. I love how peaty Laphroaig is. Ardbeg is also an Islay, so I'd assume it's pretty close to Laphroaig. Bowmore is really the only Islay I've tried that I just flat out don't like.

Re: Drunk Thread

Re: Drunk Thread
Never tried Aberlour, but if I'm not mistaken it's a Speyside. If it's at all similar to The Macallan and The Glenlivet, I'm sure it's delicious.

Re: Drunk Thread
correct.. very easy to drink being a speyside.. color me strange but I love the ten year.. it's a bit immature but that's part of what I like about it.. a good young speyside is a treat to me, gives it a bit more character

I did happy hour today with a group of friends. Hopped around to a few spots in Bethesda. I'm pretty much in the bag right now. Rock and roll.

I'd have to say, as per my recollection, laphroaig is a little easier going than ardbeg both very enjoyable but the laphroaig disappears a bit quicker |

Re: Drunk Thread
I've been on a tequila kick lately. Bought a bottle of Cabo Wabo Blanco, man that stuff goes down smooth. Feeling it a bit today though.
