I really don't care anymore Zorn's gone MS is here so in the end it was a good thing IMO. Just saw the story thought i'd post it. Most of these reporters know TC is about to open don't want to bad mouth a team to bad might want a story or an exclusive.

Skins Should Show Some Love Towards Texan's Steve Slaton - Hogs Haven

Got to find things to discuss, 11 days till Training Camp, got to get rid of that 4-12 stench.

I would like to see the skins take a run at Steve. I am a WVU fan, but more importantly I always felt that Steve had a similar skill set to CP and would be successful with the Skins. I would think if anyone in the NFL knew just how good he can be used in our offense I would think it would be Kyle.

Adam_Schefter

Back in 2005, no 1st round picks had signed by July 20; only eight were under contract by July 30. So hold on -- some holdouts coming.

Any predictions on who will sign first, who will sign last, and when TW will sign?

With CBA uncertainty I have a feeling there will be alot of holdouts. Trying to get paid just in case of any changes coming along.

I hope Dez Bryant holds out, ala Crabtree. I also expect Tebow to be an early signing. I imagine a lot of 2nd round signings to happen over the next few days. But there sure doesn't seem like a lot of time left until TC starts for a lot of teams.

That's the one good thing we have going for us, we only have a 1st rd pick to sign IMO.

I would think that Bus Cook is now Brett farve's ex-agent at this point.

^Bus Cook is like Favre's dad. They have a close relationship spanning many years. Favre may be pissed but that is about as far as that likely will go.

Re: Down time things to talk/think about.

I understand they have a close relationship, but the to release a public statement bashing your own client is a riduculous and a fireable offense. It is a business and although Bus may be like a father to the guy he shouldn't come out and say what alot of people say about him pubicly. He can say all he wants to his face but to say it out in the open and have the statement read on Sportscenter with all of the expletives bleeped out is bad judgement by Mr. Cook,

I don't think it was a public statement. It was part of an interview he had with Men's Journal. Wouldn't surprise me if at some point Bus says he thought it was off the record, or something like that

I like Slaton as a player but if we could grab just one Texans running back, I would like us to get Arian Foster. He majored in Philosophy at Tennessee. How many major college football players major in Philosophy? I like him just for that.
