If you've ever been confused about the real differences between a 4-3 and 3-4 front, wondered what a three-technique tackle was, wondered why the 46 defense has become a rarely used historical relic or just want to learn a little more about defensive football, read on. The Ultimate Guide to NFL Defense ========================================== Although it is from last year, this article is a great outline of defensive techniques in the NFL today, and the history that led to them. I figured there would be some people here interested in such an elaborate breakdown. Since the article is from footballguys, I'll take this moment to promote their fantasy football services. I've used them for several years and they're great. If you are serious about fantasy football (i.e.: play for money), you should consider getting a subscription.
