ESPN week 2 Power Rankings
Dallas is still grossly overrated, but what else is new?
NFL Power Rankings Week 2 - National Football League - ESPN One could make a case for the Skins being a few spots higher based on some of the piss poor performances of some of the teams ahead of them, but overall I think #14 is fair enough for now. |

Re: ESPN week 2 Power Rankings
People still think they won that game against the Redskins. I find it funny that the 49'ers are a spot above the Seahawks after the ass kicking they got.

Re: ESPN week 2 Power Rankings
The Caps have spoiled me. I'm use these days towards looking at the first 3 spots to find my team.

Re: ESPN week 2 Power Rankings
I don’t understand how GB can be so high and Philly so low.
Id switch the Colts and Texans Cowboys should be somewhere around 10-15 Jets should be around 8 or 9 Giants should be closer to the top 10 Seattle should be ahead of 49ers The Chargers and Chiefs should be around 15-20 I think its fair where we are placed. It seems like our defense is good, but every team is going to be taking shots at Doughty until Kareem gets better and our offense is still trying to figure itself out. But this has to be the worst power rankings ive seen from ESPN, this is in the same league as yahoo’s power rankings. I think PFT’s power rankings is pretty good: http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/39175489/ns/sports/

Re: ESPN week 2 Power Rankings
I was in the 90's. The Wizards (John Wall) and the Orioles (17-10 in August) are promising, but hockey and football are easily my favorite sports. I wish I loved baseball, it's always on.

Re: ESPN week 2 Power Rankings
I agree. Were the situation opposite, we would have dropped like 12 spots... but seriously anywhere from 12-18 I think is fair.

Re: ESPN week 2 Power Rankings
well, for an offense that only scored 6 points, I think we are pretty much lucky to be 1-0. If we lay it on Houston now, we better be top 8? And I mean LAY it on them.

Re: ESPN week 2 Power Rankings
I think at this point I don't care much. middle of the road seems about right for us. We'll know better after game 4 who is for real and who isn't. What the Skins need to do is capitalize on the issues the other teams in our division have with injuries and poor play and get some games on the them. I am extremely interested in what we do this weekend. It will say a lot about our team. I think right now Houston is in a better place than Dallas.

Re: ESPN week 2 Power Rankings
I enjoy being under the radar. The Redskins never get any respect anyway, so I will take #14.

Re: ESPN week 2 Power Rankings
Those rankings change so much week-to-week during the season that they don't mean much now.

Re: ESPN week 2 Power Rankings
Yeah this isn't an issue. We're ranked 14th, which is fine by me. Anybody check out how they broke it down? Clayton ranked us 8th, two of the other guys ranked us 16th lol. Idc where we are ranked as long as we get it done on gameday.
