Yes Schaub is the better QB. Cutler is known for forcing passes and throwing ints, so probability would state on one of those drives he would throw a pick.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)

Schaub has a better supporting cast than Cutler. Hence, he looks better. Cutler's more talented and would make that offense explode more than it already has. Besides, since Houston's scheme is Shanahan-inspired, Cutler would probably be able to match his Denver production down there.

Hell, last year, he beat the Vikes with a beautifully thrown ball to Aromashodu.

This week, the O-line could not tread water like they did in the previous weeks and he gets smacked with a concussion. The Bears o-line is never going to dominate an opposing o-line this year. They'll always be underdogs.

Cutler may be facing similar external issuses to Campbell like the shitty O-line, but mentally and physically, he is much above Campbell. Campbell is not good with "over the top routes" or routes in which the target point has leads the receiver "up" field. He's only good at stuff like comebacks and the like. Campbell is also mediocre at extending the play, while Cutler has shown he can avoid some critical sacks and the like.
Like he did nine times against the Giants?

Cutler is good but not elite.

Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)

Something just wasn't right about Cutler last night. The OL has their issues no doubt, but he just wasn't seeing things and was holding on to the ball WAY too long. A lot of those sacks were clearly his fault.

Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)

This might have been addressed in this thread already, if it has I apologize.

I didnt know that if a qb runs out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage (for a loss) that the D is credited with a sack. Is this new?

Who on the defense gets credit for the sack? the player closest to the qb when he steps out of bounds? no player is given credit and its a team sack?

Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)

It's nothing new, yeah I believe the closest player to him gets the credit.

Screw Sanchez, we have to talk about Cutler because he's a Redskin...wait, he's not a Redskin? Could've swore he was by the way this thread is going.

Falcons throwbacks are FAR better than their current set in my opinion. This is the case for most teams, even the Eagles this year.

Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)

The real Jay Cutler has finally shown up. Knew it would not last. Of course, he didn't get much help.

2 quarters of play: 42 yards, 1 interception, 9 sacks, 1 concussion.

What is going on with Brandon Lloyd? This guy is just going off. How come Josh McDaniels seems to be able to get this guy to perform and no one here or anywhere else could. Amazing.

Rams are not for real. They had no where to go but up. Seattle is not a good road team. Bradford looks legit and they're better but they're still a bad team.
