Re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
Though Moss would have been a nice acquisition, IMO, he is a only short term solution.

Re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
Exactly! Look at the class of receivers today, Moss, T.O., Vincent Jackson, Santonio Holmes, Donte' Stallworth, and the list goes on. I guess I got spoiled watching receivers like Monk, Rice, Sterling Sharpe, Chris Carter, James Lofton, etc. Those receivers played the game with class.

Look at the bright side: Now you don't have a lot of Redskins users in Madden.

Re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
I think if there were blogs twitter etc back then you'd find that many if the receivers you think were all class back in the day, in fact I know so. Everyones human. There are more good top WRs (meaning good people) than not. Even TO and Ochocinco aren't really bad humans. Yes they can grate on you, but neither has ever had any real issues outside if football that break the law or damage the integrity of the shield

I guess it's just the times we live in. Seems there is no loyalty anymore but that even goes beyond players anymore. This part of the game has passed me up I guess. |

Gano makes the FG in the Texans game and then the TO never happens for the ice and we're 5-3 McNabb hitting galloway on the long bomb at the end, instead of the crazy INT by the colts...and we're 6-2 The lions and rams games are as they are... I believe this team is better than their 4-4 record... but we are, what we are right now and that's 4-4.

Re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
You're getting called out because you told us all how you're basically "a football man, not a football fan" and your years of knowledge were reason enough for you to predict a 14-2 record. So whatever, that's fine. I think we all wished your prediction was the worst that we would do.
But now, you're ranting about what a total failure the decision to not sign Moss was and how we should just fire Shanahan now. And now we're going to lose to the Titans (even though you already had us losing to them). It's not like you had us sweeping the Giants and now Moss is with the Giants I think you tend to start typing everything without doing any sort of self-editing. If you're going to last here, you need to have a bit more self-control when you post. And don't pull the I know more football card bc that doesn't fly here

Re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)
Since this thread has no real direction anymore I will post this here since its just a maybe. But, from what Im reading there is a chance we could have both Portis and Torain in week 10. No tear in Torain MRI and Portis is starting to practice. I was happy to see this and hope it is true.

Well, for all of ace's talk of being "a football man", he sure sounds just many a "football fan".

I have not followed every moment of his career but he looks and sounds like a good kid. Plus his play is out of this world good. I think he is currently a top 2 or 3 WR in the entire NFL. |

SirClintonPortis
Dude,i'm sorry. I just can't take you seriously with that sig man. (although my 14-2 prediction sig was bad as well) Not only do you want this loser to replace a guy, who's quite responsible for why we are even 4-4 and not worse... But to replace him with a Cowboy...A no-no redskins Cardinal rule. Dude? Would I get a pass,if i had "Cut Mcnabb and Trade for Romo" (I know we've had this argument before btw) Dude...Let me tell ya a secret? Wade FREAKIN' SUCKS! lol Sorry man lol I'm not a facepalm kinda guy,but man...that deserves a facepalm or a mudmask or something.

Haslett needs to show me that he's not the same dude who ran the Steelers' top 5 defense into a merely average defense.
