Good call on trying to lock up as many would have been UDFAs.

I am starting the Ricky Stanzi bandwagon for pick 127.

I'm loving all the trading down but I gotta think there'll be a trade up at some point?? Do we really need 4 picks in the 7th?

No problem with Stanzi. Devlin is still out there, too.

Okay. And since I'm a VT fan, I'll throw my name in to the Tyrod Taylor bandwagon hat since the Kaep Krusaders are dead. I would have loved for that to be my new username.

Thumbs up Re: 2011 Draft Thread Rounds 2-3

I love all of these trade downs. LOVE THEM!!!!! We can bring in a lot of young players to compete. We need to have competition at a lot of positions. I am so happy right now, this is the exact opposite of the crap we have been pulling for the last 10 years or so that has got us nowhere fast. Love it, if i didnt already mention that. We will end up taking a young qb like Stanzi i bet. Take it, just no Mallet please. Too big and slow for what Shanny likes to do.

I was thinking the same thing. Also, at this point, no more trading down please. At this rate we're going to have 16 7th rounders.

I like the stockpile we've built up. Now let's get some quality guys.

at this point folks QB is not looking likely, I mean most QBs drafted 3rd and lower are career back ups anyway

we give up the 10th pick

we get the 16th pick and a 3rd, a 4th, two 5ths and a 7th

what would all the reaction have been?
or, what if you said, I will give you a 3rd, 4th, 2 - 5ths and a 7th for your mid 2nd?

really we basically have traded the 49th overall for 4 picks, not bad

Yes because of the CBA and the uncertain undrafted market, get'em under contract!
