Re: Washington Capitals 2010-2011 ongoing thread
Sigh. The Lightning are playing better defense, they've got a hot goalie in Rolo, and their pp/pk are both firing on all cylinders right now. It's gonna be extremely hard to come back from down 2-0 to them.

Hang in there my Bruins were down to the Habs 2-0 and they fought back, plus Wash is a much better team then the Bruins, they can do it!

epic fail on the caps part, this doesn't look good. i really hope we don't get swept, but after the first two games at home it's not looking good

The Caps are definitely getting outworked but how many lucky bounces can one team get?!?! This is un-F'ing-believable.

I am so, so, so disappointed. Stick a fork in us, we're done. 2 straight years as the 1 seed and we can't even sniff the conference finals. Terrible.

Re: Washington Capitals 2010-2011 ongoing thread
IT always feels worst when you lose to a southern team because IMO no one down there even cares. When the Bruins got knocked out few years back by CAR I was soooo pissed. Well in hindsight last year was worst but still the CAR lost was horrible.

Yeah this is just inexcusably bad. Do you guys think Boudreau should be fired? I do.

Re: Washington Capitals 2010-2011 ongoing thread
I like the guy and I was really hoping he could get it done here, but I 100% agree that this is completely inexcusable. This team had absolutely no reason not to be fully prepared for this series; I don't even care that they're going to lose it, but to do so in this fashion means that heads need to roll.

Sloppy line changes, bad penalties, awful special teams, and just an overall lack of focus. That points to coaching in my book. He's done. He's got to be.

Haha, killed with help from Marc-Andre Bergeron and Dominic Moore for the second year in a row.
I'm jumping for joy. Oven chicken can go emo for another year.
