2011 Redskins Free Agents Rumors and Reports-Part 3

For the past couple of seasons this team has lost a lot of close games. I hope Graham is an improvement over Gano. We need to have a good kicker, this could make a difference in winning those close games.

Gano is awful.anybody would be an improvement over him.

Don't forget, Gano won about 3 games for us last season too. He actually made the "first" gamewinner against Houston too. Still mad about that timeout rule.

He hit the game winners in OT against the Titans, Jags and was most of the scoring in the win against Green Bay.

He also had a horrible situation with holder and long snapper last season.

The kid has a great leg and I thought he had the potential to be a great long-term kicking solution for us, which is why I'm surprised we're apparently giving up on him. Mike Shahanan seemed to stick up for him a lot last season too.

Uh oh...have we found a new long snapper? Sundberg was HORRIBLE.

I'm assuming Rocca is the new holder.

I know this is probably one of the worst sources...but, Ahmad Bradshaw?

Giants' GM was just on the radio (WFAN) and basically admitted the Giants are in cap hell. He said they're "dealing with the salary cap" when asked why the Giants have not made many signings and are losing so many players to other teams. The NYG fans called in afterwards and are MAD...great entertainment. They even complained about Eli Manning's contract and asked how many INTs he'll throw this year for that money.

They've lost some good players, D-line is weak from losing Cofield and are stuck with big contracts for Canty and Rocky Bernard who are underperforming for their salary. Still have not signed Prince Amukamara, their top pick.

Missed out on Burress...maybe Bradshaw...still have not given Osi a new deal.

Especially for Shanny.

I wouldn't mind taking him away from the Giants just for the sole purpose of taking him away from the Giants! Brandon Jacobs is about done, he'll be 30 this year.

I think this was before the Hightower deal...I doubt we'd be pursuing Bradshaw.

The Bradshaw rumors kicked up yesterday, but with Hightower coming aboard that move doesn't appear to be likely now. Not that it really did in the first place, seemed more like his camp trying to leverage himself with the Giants.
