I was thinking the same thing. He was VERY suprising at guard, sucks as a tackle but when he went in as a guard he seemd to be a little more effective. Not stellar, but effective.

So if we are not gonna make a play for Orton, Bulger, etc. then we seriously need to get Rex into camp. Anybody know the hold up?

Tatupu would be a great addition! Knee surgeries were minor; and I'd feel way more comfortable starting him at ILB than Riley, Henson or Alexander.
Hayden would be a nice move, but nothing more than a 1-2 yr deal. Very underrated, and would arguably be the best CB we'd have. CB's (If Hayden signs) 1. Hayden 2. Hall 3. Wilson 4. Buchannon 5. Barnes It's a crowded group, but IMO Hayden, would be the best true Cover CB we'd have. |

Hey, Fletch had 2.5 sacks last year alone. 2.5 sacks in 6 years suggest he rushes the passer once in a blue moon. Either way I'm not a fan of Crowder. Like has been mentioned, he talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk.

Kevin Burnett, the guy Miami signed to replace him, has nearly outperformed Channing Crowder's career totals in just one season: 6 sacks, 2 FF, and 2 INT. Trust me. I'm a UF alum from South Florida. I've seen way too much Channing Crowder sucking it up in my lifetime. Don't want him any where near our sidelines. |

I didn't realize that Wilson was not under contract. Any news on the Rocky front? Has he signed elsewhere are we going to talk to him at all?

I want to keep him as a guard, don't know if this is his situation but more tackles could become starters if they bit their pride bullet and went guard, he looked alright there

Re: 2011 Redskins Free Agents Rumors and Reports-Part 3
I'd rather we get guys that fit Shanny's system as depth for the o-line. Heyer is a bigger, slower guy, not as big and slow as Dockery was but definitely not as small and agile as Montgomery is. If we don't sign anyone else for depth on the o-line I'd be okay if Heyer came back to backup at guard, but we all know he's plateau'd talent wise and we know what we're getting with him.

Re: 2011 Redskins Free Agents Rumors and Reports-Part 3
Rocky was an okay outside linebacker in the 4-3, but we need to face it, he's not suited to be an ILB in a 3-4. I doubt the FO brings him back.
