The Eagles traded Brown to the Detroit Lions in exchange for running back Jerome Harrison and a seventh-round draft pick in 2013 on October 18, 2011.

Re: Around the NFL week 6
Stephen Ross and Danny Boy indeed see the world in similar ways. Ross is addicted to "starpower" - - even in the owners' suite. He has sold off small fractions of the Dolphins to singers and entertainers and has them hanging around the team for "marketing and promotional purposes". Danny Boy has not gone down that road but has thoroughly explored the path littered with over-the-hill star players and big-name coaches who never seemed to have the same success here that they did anywhere else...

Re: Around the NFL week 6
Based on what I have seen this year, I think Ronnie Brown has about one or two good games left in the tank...

Re: Around the NFL week 6
It's about time: I got a real good feeling about this guy...
Redskins Terrence Austin aims to build on first catch - The Insider - The Washington Post After leading the Washington Redskins with 11 catches for 141 yards and a touchdown during the preseason and then getting passed over in each of his team’s first four weeks of the season, second-year receiver Terrence Austin finally got a chance to make a play on Sunday. Anyone else like to see more of Austin? |

I am not saying the backups will suddenly become starters. But Beck has been working with and creating chemistry with the back up receivers because they play together on the scout team in practice. The same thing happened when Doug Williams took over for J. Schroeder. Doug Williams and Ricky Sanders were completing passes in the dark because they worked more in practice. So naturally Sanders became a bigger part of the game plan over Clark and Monk because of chemistry. Last edited by Defensewins; 10-18-2011 at 08:42 PM. |

Re: Around the NFL week 6
Hillis could not escape that Madden curse. LOL.
But I'd take him. He was a monster for Shanny while he was in Denver, and his skillset is quite broad for a fullback. He's got hands to catch the ball.
