This is what I said about Ponder and Locker last year, and I think it kind of applies to Jones and Tannehill. Just replace Ponder with Jones and Locker with Tannehill

"When I watch Ponder, I see a guy who will be steady and perhaps underappreciated. I'm not sure though he's going to be a factor when a big play is needed. But then with Locker, I see a guy who can totally turn a game around on one play...except he could turn it around the wrong way.

I like Ponder a lot, but there's something really unique about Locker when he's at his best that Ponder can't compare to."

Foles is a bit of a wildcard in my opinion. Like I've said before, I've seen practicing and he's unreal in practice. But he's not the same QB in a game. And I don't know why that is.

I love Kellen Moore but I don't think he's a QB that should be taken in the first 3 rounds and I haven't heard of any Redskins interest in him.

Keep an eye on Chandler Harnish later in the draft.

Terrible terrible terrible.
Mich State is my favorite college team and I can't wait for the next QB to start playing.

I actually really like this.

I still think Landry Jones is the best option and should be the only option, once he learns to look for his 3rd options/check downs he's going to be great.

YAWN!!!! Let's trade with Carolina and get Claussen. Would that make you happy? This rebuild is gonna be long.

Re: RGIII declares for NFL draft

I'd personally prefer to get Blackmon if RG3 isn't available for an outrageous price, but if Blackmon isn't available I'd like us to trade down and get a good olineman like DeCastro from Stanford or Reiff from Iowa and then make the selection of Kellen Moore in a later round as our future qb. He's so similar to Drew Brees in stature, arm strength, and accuracy it's not even funny and all he does is win.

They said the same thing about Newton, and he's breaking records. And not to say Cam isn't really smart, but the experts say RG III is super smart and will master any playbook placed in front of him.

DRAFT HIM!

Re: RGIII declares for NFL draft

My biggest concern about RG3 seems to have been averted....at least for now.

Early life and high school career

Quote:
Griffin was born in Japan, where his parents, Robert Jr. and Jacqueline, both U.S. Army Sergeants, were stationed. The family later lived in the U.S. State of Washington, and then moved to New Orleans, before finally settling in Copperas Cove, Texas in 1997.[2][3]
7 years old, still young enough to be indoctrinated as a Cowboys fan. This could get tricky.

Do people realize that Cam has 34 TD's against 16 Turnovers? Thats insane.

If they like Tannehill then I need to know the veteran QB that is part of this plan. Any idea? My perception of Tannehill is that he needs more time then the "lets let Rex start the year as the placeholder" strategy. We would need a veteran we can win with next year and there are not many of those available unless they are Flynn believers. I like that they didn't force it on a QB they didn't love but the problem with waiting until draft #3 to get the QB is that a lot of the development time is lost since the pressure to win games starts to ramp up from here on in. Personally, I would be patient enough for Tannehill to develop, just not sure the entire fan base and ultimately Snyder will be.

I think it would be nice to get someone like Blackmon in the first and then maybe trade up to get Ryan Tannehill. I think that could potentially be a stellar tandem. Tannehill throwing to Blackmon, a healthy Hankerson, and Moss/Gaffney. That sounds like a really strong WR corp to me.
