Re: Coaching Changes

I have read other reports that Ken Harvey is like....Gold and that DG is the EGO. Naturally this leads to conflicting reports of Matty's.....origin?

They're human just like everyone else.

How do we only work 8 hours a day and still manage to F things up time to time?

It happens.

Indeed...I was being cynical.

Still I would say from my own experiences...when the going gets tough at work, for whatever reason, it's not helpful to tell the boss, client or whomever that you're working extra hours. I think it comes across as whiny. Not that Bruce was trying to play that card IMO, but it can still sound that way.

Bruce Allen? What does he have to do with it?

OMG, my beloved 2nd favorite team (Bucks) will be interviewing Marty Schottenheimer Tues.....
Bucs to interview Marty Schottenheimer | ProFootballTalk

for their HCing vacancy. I'd be in total bliss, Mike Shanahan here, Marty Schottenheimer with the Bucks.

I thought it was Bruce Allen making the 18 hr word day comment? Regardless...we get the point.

I love Marty as a coach but I'm not sure he's so good that he can translate his success in football to a career coaching Bogut and friends in the NBA

Still the guy deserves a shot. All he does is win.

I figure he might pull a Shanahan and try to bring his son with him in hopes that later he can retire again and his son can take over. Hey his only draw back was his lack of winning a SB. Hey he's got a winning record and sooner or later with a winning record you have a better chance of getting there.

I can't even remember what happened in his last HCing job or where he was? was it with the Raiders? IDK.

I always thought he was pretty good also.
