You know who you should hang with? Alvin Walton. You guys could sit on his front porch and spit chewing tobaccy while reminiscing about the days when the NFL didn't use to be, quote unquote, "a pansy league for sissies."

You forgot the alumumum foil wrapped around the tip of the antenae and the rolling cart so you could move that Zenith around the house to get the best reception.

Re: QB Apocalypse: The Seventh Sign

Smoot, you are getting some love over on ES bro.

And neither one of us knows the true answer to this. With all the commotion on ES lately I've spent a lot more time on warpath, and their resident insider has said "Shannahan will apparently do whatever it takes to get Bradford/Luck, but it's funny he wasn't willing to do this two years ago for Bradford" take it for what it is.

Not sure you quite said that, but I think he's making the point that Shanny was willing to move up to get Bradford/Luck but not for RGIII.

EDIT: This board has taken a terrible turn the past few weeks. I'll pop on and read through a few posts and be gobsmacked with the volume of stupidity.
Found this funny. Hate to break it to him, but it been that way for longer than the past few weeks...lol

Ultimately what people say doesn't matter. If he trades up for RG3 and doesn't have enough depth to win, he's gone. If he sits tight at the quarterback position and builds depth and can't win close games because he doesn't trust the fifth quarterback he handpicked, he's gone. If he goes after Peyton Manning and bypasses a QB in the draft again and Peyton doesn't work out, he's gone.

And yet, if he completely and totally screws up the offseason but leads the team into a 10-6 finish in the regular season, then he gets his contract extended and everybody loves him. Because that's how the NFL works.

Sad, but very true!

His screen name is Mahons21 on ES, and he's obviously has some sense if he knows to come here over that loony bin. I fear word will get out about our little community and we'll be soon overrun with Vinny Cerrato clones (aka fans) crapping up the place.
