Thoughts on Gibb's Presser
I really like how he updated us on T. Jacobs. I'm glad to hear that he is doing good. I know its early, but the coach made it a point to bring him up. Same with Antonio Brown, that was awesome. I also think Gibbs likes Betts, my call is that he is going to have a real productive season, 400-500 yards rushing on limited carries of course.

Re: Thoughts on Gibb's Presser
Thanks Gortiz, I could not get any info on the press conference. I imagine no word on Barrow or Taylor? Any other tib-bits about our rookies?

He gave props to Clinton, and again said he is real impressed with what he does with out the ball ...he also said Rock is having a great off-season, he sounded real happy about that. As far as rookies go, Campbell is all I got, anybody else hear the whole thing?? |

I'm so excited about Betts and Rock. I think these are two of the best back up RB's in the league.

Re: Thoughts on Gibb's Presser
Howdy Malcolm, back to the point of this thread I gotta say I love that we have a coach who will keep the fans informed. I have seen Gibbs take a bit of flack about how he has press conferences and does not say much. "It's a process." "fighting our guts out" etc. But at least this guy seems to care enough about the fans to let us know whats up.
Anybody else got any good Gibbsismz......

Re: Thoughts on Gibb's Presser
"Played his guts out." seemed to be a GREAT Gibbsism when he was talking about how shitty Brunell played.

Re: Thoughts on Gibb's Presser
Oh by the way, who thought it was funny when Gibbs was talking about the coaching staff arguing so bad late, late last night that he had to get up and close the door. I am assuming they were cursing and dropping F-bombs left and right. Did anybody get that comment about Buges? It sounded funny - someting about him never listening??

Re: Thoughts on Gibb's Presser
Most of Gibbs interviews are fluff, don't listen if you want some sort of breaking news, but they are nice to cater to fans. I still listen when I can. Could we get more info from what he said on T. Jacobs and A. Brown though? Did he mention Brown getting a shot at maybe DB or WR?

Re: Thoughts on Gibb's Presser
He said that Brown has impressed him everyday in camp and has had "flashes"....I guess meaning flashes of greatness. He seemed to include A. Brown along with the other receivers, which makes me think that Gibbs might be thinking about Brown as far as a WR.
Basically all he said about Jacobs was that he has been doing really good in camp and he feels that the Skins have a very deep group of WRs.
