I don't know about the dropsies. According to the stats, he has been targeted 5 times and caught 4. The one incomplete pass was on 2nd and 11 in the 2nd Q of yesterday's game. I didn't see it so I don't know if it was a catchable ball. It was two plays before the missed 41 yard field goal.

I DID see his clutch catch for 30 yards, with a defender on him and the ball high.

Don't know about the penalty. Would Cooley have been targeted more? Been a better blocker? Certainly, he wasn't gonna be playing on special teams. I just don't see it.

I must be confused about the expectations of this team.
lol ... Yup. I think you hit the nail on the head.

I think his dropsies were mostly in the preseason.

It was a catchable ball. If you look back in the gameday thread when u have the time there are two pages of paul bashing. Haha. That might have something to do with my disdain for paul rite now. Im not on the cooley come back train. I said before niles paul will never be chris cooley but chris cooley will never be chris cooley. I do think if pauls first four fames are any sort of blueprint for the rest of his season that he is not on the team next year but davis seems to be turning into a weapon again so im not losing any sleep over our number two tight end.

The paul moment is around page 17 in the gameday thread.

I think it's time to put Cooley in the rear view.

I loved him as a player here but we've moved on.

Paul is still young and adjusting to a new position. He's got potential.

That the offense does nothing. But when the offense does something and we do play to our player's talents they get grief for that too. I mean what do you want exactly?
I am not a Kyle apologist but I for one think that Mike and Kyle are doing a great job of flexibly bringing Gryphon along and playing to his strengths. I really like our new offense.

I agree; can't see much upside to bringing Cooley back.

People need to be fair about the drop though. Paul had to go up and got the ball with full extension, and as he was bringing it in, a DB smacked him pretty hard in the hands dislodging the ball. It wasnt like it hit him in his chest with no one near him. He probably should have caught it, but to make it out to be an easy catch as some are doing is far from the truth.

It's mostly because Punch it in just posts a bunch of random comments he read somewhere on the internet. Most of it makes no sense, and a lot can be wrapped up in one post, but if someone doesn't teach him the multi-qoute option soon. I might blow my head off..

I read 24 pages of the post game thread, and at least 4 pages total is his posting of ramble jibber jabber.

Nothing personal, but there has to be a restriction. lol

Re: Redskins vs Bucs Post Game Reaction

Just a cool little tidbit...

Redskins are on pace for 60 touchdowns this year. That's 32 more touchdowns the last year.

Our best was 44 in 2005 in the past decade. I believe that was the year we made the playoffs?

1983 we score 63 touchdowns! Before I was even born. Holy moly.

Also, I hear a lot about the defense, but one good thing about the defense is we get turnovers. I mean, if you can't stop them.. Then atleast get the ball back

Re: Redskins vs Bucs Post Game Reaction

Maybe I just cant find it in the previous pages, but on one of griffins runs where he came up short of the first down on 3rd and short and mccoy wraped him up, he went down backwards really awkward with his knee planted. My heart went in my stomach on that play we got lucky he didnt cause serious damage, those are the things we need to try and avoid with him. Did anyone else see this??
