Re: Giving props...

I gotta give the props to Kyle Shanahan and the wideouts.

Obviously adapting way better under this system, but the WR's are running beautiful routes and when given space- they make the best of it.

Aside from the Pittsburgh game, I'm enamored with the WR's production.

Re: Giving props...

Garcon-While clearly he's no Jabar Gaffney, he is a difference maker when he's on the field.

T. Williams-He's done exactly what he should have been doing his entire career. Leading, dominating for stretches and playing like a top 10 pick should.

Chester-Rarely misses his man, rarely gives up pressure, rarely gets called for a penalty. Solid season all the way around.

Montgomery-See Chester

Bowen & Cofield-Playing well on the DL, making it easy for Riley and Fletcher to attack the ball carrier.

Forbath-No longer do I get a knot in my gut on 4th down in FG range

I think Paulsen has been off alot. Drops - penalties - he whiffed so bad on a block at the start of the Dallas game that I actually felt the breeze in my living room. I think you could plug just about any te in there with Griff and he is going to get his share of catches. To me tightend is a weakness without Davis healthy but I dont really care because our offense is kicking ass.
Edit: when Paulsen was playing behind Cooley / Davis he would come in here or there and seemed like he always made a play. I felt quite comfortable with him becoming our primary guy. Until i have watched him the last several weeks. Now i know why he was only coming in here or there.

A lot? You got the numbers or any evidence to back that up? No, you don't. Besides, you know how many balls I've seen Cooley drop or fumble? Too many to count. How many blocks he's missed? You guys are incredible. He hasn't done much the past couple weeks because Garcon is back. I guess we'll decide to ignore that factor. ****ing haters.

Re: Giving props...

for a guy who was #3 last season, he's stepped up in a major way.

Who the hell is hating? I clearly said i dont care because our offense kicks ass. Also i gave three examples of him blowing it. Bad penalty - bad whiff- started both the dallas game and the giants game with bad drops. You gave one example of a play where he stretched for a first down. The whole idea of the thread was to give props - rg-3 , morris , the oline minus polumbus, young, garcon, kai, riley. Paulsen? No. You yourself called him a third string caliber te. I consider him a second string actually. However like i said tight ends are usually fairly accessible over the middle when they have linebackers covering them so u could plug pretty much any te in the league into our offense with griff and our run game (notice that is the opposite of "hating" ) and he will have his moments. Why am i a hater for not thinking Paulsen has shined? Lol.

He could be a number two on alot of teams - cooley and davis made him a three but not many teams had or have two tightends like that. If buy "stepping up" you mean playing because he is asked by the coaching staff to do so - well than yes. Imo he is looking like a fill in and career second stringer. Exactly what he is. Not shining in his new found role as a starter. Nothing special or deserving of props. Doesnt mean i think he is the worst te ever or losing games for us as NC would make my comments out as.

So then why bring up Paulsen if you don't think he deserves props
