Re: sportscurmudgeon!
think the Skins are just too easy to pick on these days, i'm sure he's waiting for something really positive to happen so he can bring us all back down again.

Re: sportscurmudgeon!
Very true. I guess all this doom 'n' gloom about Ramsey has made me forget SC hasn't been here in forever!
I'd love to hear his take on last week's scrimmage.

Re: sportscurmudgeon!
He still posts semi-regularly on his own website, http://www.sportscurmudgeon.com. If you don't read it now, I suggest you start. It's nice to know that it isn't just our Redskins that make him bitter.

Re: sportscurmudgeon!
I think he said he was pretty busy this summer--traveling and business stuff. Hopefully, he'll be in full effect when the season starts.
Plus, he's probably laughing at us morons who take this preseason stuff WAY too seriously!

Re: sportscurmudgeon!
I was in Seattle for five days working on something for a client and taking in three Mariners' games.
I ought to be done with the client's report real soon - - I'd better be!! - - because I'm off with my long-suffering wife and other family members for 10 days in the National Parks in Utah at the end of next week. I also have a frelance writing assignment that I'm working on now. I want to get as much of this done as I can before the NFL season starts for real. I like NFL exhibition games but they're nothing like the real thing and so I'll continue to bust my butt now so I can pay strict attention once the real games start up. Summary of my opinion of the Carolina game: The first string offensive layers ought to be ashamed of themselves. Other than the O-line - which played well but not outstandingly - every other part of the offensive unit performed below reasonable expectations.

EEich:
I will be at both Zion and Bryce - along with Canyon Lands and Arches and Capital Reef and others. I'm looking forward to it a lot. I have a copy of "The Roadside Geology Guide to Utah". My wife and I are real geeks about that kind of stuff... I REALLY need to get this client report done. This is the "Client From Hell" and I will NEVER take a contract from him ever again for anything less than a 7-figure retainer for one year. I'd rather get an ice-water enema than deal with him again...
