I thought it was kinda chippy, but I don't think it made a difference in the game?

The Ravens situation was different. We had momentum, we were driving, were deep in Ravens territory and I think Cousins expected to get put in after RG3 was injured the first time.

This time, we had zero momentum, hadn't sustained a decent drive since the first quarter and although up by 1, the offensive line started breaking down and the defense had been getting worked up and down the field since the 3rd quarter.

But somehow Cousins deserves some blame?
What are you talking about? Im questioning why KC wasnt in there sooner. I felt good about the KC pick until tonite cus we didnt use it?!? Lol

Okay. You just worded that kinda weird. That's why I was asking.

I see what you could have thought. No not in any sense of the word am i blaming KC. Talk about an impossible spot. He was like a relief pitcher coming in with the bases loaded and no outs while losing 3-0 He had no chance at that point. Be should have come in at the half.

Re: Seahawks 24 Skins 14 post game thread

I'm looking at this with the cup half full, not half empty. Only way we were going to win was with a healthy Robert at 100%.

I think the doctors greened him and said he was good, and they were trying to give Robert the opportunity to try and pull it out.

But he was shook. The pain and instability took him off his game.

Robert didn't want to leave, Shanny didn't want to bench him, the line started allowing pressure which only compounded problems with his mobility, the D started faltering on crucial downs. Robert getting messed up and the cheap shots at such a disciplined team took the wind out of their sails.

It's okay. Really, it is.

Robert will heal up, we'll get some more pieces, get back at it next year. He's a rookie QB who inspired and lead the team to the vaunted NFCE championship title. We swept Dallas, swept Philly, and if not for a fumble by Moss we sweep the G-Men. If he was healthy, I believe we would have run the table all the way through the playoffs.

Look to next year.

Glad the Rams only got the 22nd pick for the trade. Now for the 32nd next year.

Yeah, I've heard all his post game press conferences, but he just literally changed gears; snapped.

I completely agree with him that he's the best option, but now this is something which sport analysts are going beat to hell and will be a small footnote down the road of ''negatives'' on Robert. Reading the quote and hearing the quote are two different things.

Its a non discussion point. Lets relax.

From John Keim:

@john_keim: Seahawks CB Richard Sherman on RG3: "I'm sure if he were 100 % it would have been a different game."

Re: Seahawks 24 Skins 14 post game thread

Today I learned RG3 has a little bit of Favre in him, where he will keep playing even if he is hurt, even if it may seem to be a negative for the team. Also the defense although it has improved will by no measure win the Redskins games. At least not yet. It will keep the score in the low 20's but will not be good enough to win games if the offense is not clicking. 224 yards on 6.1 YPC will not win a lot of games, especially in the playoffs.

Redskins were not going to win this game unless RG3 was completely healthy. Cousins would not have made that much of an impact. Cousins definitely would not have taken the team beyond this round if they had won. The seahawks was the best defense the skins played and without a completely healthy RG3, the seahawks proved to be the better defense, offense and team. Now the Redskins need to take a page from the seahawk playbook and improve their defense through key underrated free agent signings and drafting physical playmakers in the secondary.

At least at the half he should have came out with Cousins.
Exactly. I'm happy as hell he's our QB but I don't care how he said he felt. It was obvious he was hurting and wasn't his usual self after limping back on the field late in the first quarter. When Cousins finally did get in the game, the receivers, except for Santana, suddenly got butter fingers. Thats why as one poster put it, "He didn't exactly light it up." Cousins did his part, the receivers didn't. Of course I'm happy about our future. I'm freakin' ecstatic! But Cousins has proven his worth and leaving RG3 in was a mistake. And I thought it was obvious during the game, obvious. HTTR!
