Probably will be the number one pick, if everything stays the same.

I think that DT out of Utah will be. Then again, it wouldn't surprise me if somebody reaches with a QB.

Depends on what KC really needs. They need a bunch of offense but also that OLB from UGA is really good

Chiefs need a QB, reports from Kansas City are that Albert might leave and actually might leave to San Diego, of course they might franchise him. If they lose him they have a void at Left Tackle, but their oline is pretty solid all around.

WR, depends what Bowe does.

Jackson and Dorsey were both first round picks, good ends not great though.

NT - They just drafted Poe who was a project player. (Why they might not take Star from Utah).

Hali, Houston, and D. Johnson are actual strengths at linebacker. Still need to replace the other. This depends on whether they stay at a 3-4. (which is why its unlikely they take Jarvis Jones)

Brandon Flowers is better than most corners in the NFL, they need another corner.

They need another safety with Eric Berry.

Just depends who they let go and keep. and what they do with their defense, will they change?

I doubt we'll see a LB go at #1 in quite some time. If Lavar Arrington couldn't get drafted at that spot, than nobody can to be honest with you. LA is probably one of the best prospects I've ever seen come out of college at the LB spot. Too bad his potential didn't match up to his career. OL/DL/QB are at a premium in the league. That's where the battles are truly won or lost.

What Kansas City should do with the number one pick: Luke Joeckel.
What Kansas City will probably do with the number one pick: Geno Smith.

How I want the Washington Redskins draft to look like:

2nd) Jordan Poyer CB, Oregon State
3rd) Tyrann Mathieu CB/SS, LSU
4th) Best OT available
5th) Tharold Simon CB, LSU
5th) Kevin Reddick ILB, North Carolina
6th) Ray Ray Armstrong FS/SS, Miami

I mean the guy is a playmaker, if he is there in the 3rd take him, I am tempted to take him in the 2nd forget the character issues that people seem to let get blown out of proportion. All i can say is the man is a playmaker and I hope we take a chance on him.

One thing you gotta understand about the NFL, playmakers win games, Dallas had a bunch of punks but nobody cared when they were winning. I'm with you I hope we draft him. Hell I'd take him in the 2nd

I like to believe you win games with OL and DL, like the giants or the Patriots of old. But playmakers do help. Like Green Bay (but when healthy they have a great oline, especially when Rogers releases the ball on time).

He will run a bad 40, I am sure he will be available in later rounds. Too many other better corners.

Why would badger run a bad 40? And actually he's a pretty good cover guy.

Not a bad 40, probably 4.5 plus though. Right now his latest numbers at LSU were a 4.52, but college 40 times are usually unreliable and make the player seem faster than he actually is. Still a 4.52 at 5'9 is not good for his draft stock.

As far as man converage, against Alabama he got abused. They just threw it to anyone he was covering and got a completion. Agaist WVU Tavon Austin was the only WVU player who really just played great and Mathieu was on him for most of the game. The scouting report before he was kicked out of school was that the reason he would drop is because he lacks ideal size and NFL man-to-man skills.

The way LSU used him would be the way you would have to use him in the NFL, a roamer who can make plays. He is not Jenkins from last year where he can play well in man coverage and help take away good receivers. Still worth a late round pick because he obviously is a good open field tackler and makes plays. He just is not a good "pure" corner.
