Cooley on rg3
"You can’t sit at your locker or be on the field and say well it’s not my fault,” Griffin continued. “You know, ‘I’m a baller, I’m an all-pro, I’m a Pro Bowl player.’ Because right now, we have no Pro Bowl players. We don’t. We’re not playing that way. I’m not playing that way, the line’s not playing that way, our receivers aren’t playing that way, the backs aren’t playing that way, our defense isn’t playing that way, our special teams isn’t playing that way. And we all know that. Coaches reiterated that to us many times, and guys have to accept that.”
There was more, but that’s the basic idea.
“We have to get better, but we do have Pro Bowlers,” Cooley pointed out. “DeSean Jackson is going to make the Pro Bowl this season. DeSean Jackson had his chances of making the Pro Bowl hurt by two overthrows and one blatantly missed throw that would have been three touchdowns….You have guys that are playing well. You can’t individually attack positions and players. It’s just not going to be good business for you as a quarterback.”
