In today's Washington Post article about Portis' lack of touchdowns (see
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...092501526.html), Portis is quoted as saying, "As long as we're winning, I don't care how many yards I have." Wow! That really surprised me. He has yet to prove that he actually puts the team ahead of himself, but if what he says is true he is a damn mature man. Instead of saying, "Gimme the damn ball," he's willing to put the team ahead of himself. For someone who has been billed as an arrogant primmadonna, he sure sounds like a class act.
