We don't know much about Tarver but the Rams probably thought that about McVay until they interviewed him.

If I were the Skins and I heard that Pettine had other offers then I'd scramble to put together an offer. On Bradley, that's a guy McCloughan and Gruden both know personally. So if Bradley decides he wants to go with Lynn, he'll do the Skins the courtesy of calling to tell them, in which case the 'Skins won't have a shot at him anyway. If he gets an offer from the Chargers, but would rather coach the Redskins, he'll call them and push them to either S or get off the pot. The relationship ensures they don't have to rush on Bradley.

Until Bradley and Pettine sign on with different teams, then I'll just wait it out. I think I actually want Pettine more than Bradley now. But I'd be happy with either one.
