Re: rams postgame
Too bad about fat Rob -- hope he's OK and heals quickly.
I will say, however, I have a feeling Mack Brown is going to get elevated and light it up. Has real speed and isn't afraid to lower a shoulder either. He and Perine with CT as our 3rd down back ought to be solid. Funny how this year, our D seems to be setting the tone and carrying us. Man, we are missing Garcon and DJax -- anyone who says otherwise is crazy. Nice to see Grant with a big catch when it counted, but not having the kind of WR production we've grown used to is frustrating. Happy to see some of the guys who were banged up (Moses, Norman, Brown) gut it out. Hopefully, they can use this as a confidence builder and keep improving. The Eagles got handled today, as did Dallas. And the Giants looked worse than we did week 1. Division is up for grabs, folks. What impressed me the most today -- and I didn't expect it -- was how we schemed to counter the speed of the Rams D. Delayed handoffs up the gut once pressure was past worked very well, as did the intermediate stuff with WRs clearing out. It was a decent game plan, it would seem, and we stuck to it.
