Splitting reps in practice ends up hurting both guys as you're not giving them enough snaps to really develop. This is a good point about the practice reps. Dwayne had virtually no practice reps with the first team when he had to be inserted into the lineup and he struggled hugely for the first few games. Once he settled in, he performed well. I think a lot of folks are overlooking that when they claim that Haskins is a bust.
