If San Fran is giving up on Jimmy G, that says a lot. Either they don't believe in his ability, or they don't believe in his availability. I'm not even trading a 7th round pick for him, and picking up that contract.

I'm glad he's SF's problem. They'll probably just release him and take the cap hit rather than pay him $50M over the next two years.
