we had some years without great DEs (gibbs 2'ish). It's a lot harder to do it that way, but we had a really good back 7 back then (i.e. shawn springs playing amazing at cut rate prices, before he started missing a lot of time here, etc). Renaldo wynn started 63 games and had 8 sacks, phillip daniels had 15 in 66 starts (8 in 1 year) - jaw-dropping numbers.
