Fassel meets with Redskins over coaching vacancies

I've abstained from commenting on this up until now but I can't see how this makes any sense, since the players are so solidly in GW's corner. So much of the discontent in the locker room over the Snyder era has come from management's tendency to pay top dollar for outside guns while ignoring those within the organization - it seems that this is now being extended to the coaches too.

I think the Chargers this year proved that a talented team can win for anybody but I am still scratching my head here.

I just fear that this comes down to Williams wanting to fundamentally alter the front office structure and Fassel contrarily being willing to play ball with the current set up. If Williams pushed too much for change in those four interviews I could see Daniel and Vincent talking themselves into just about anybody.
