The next two weeks are critical

Folks:

I'm heading outta town for about 10 days and may not have reliable Internet access for at least part of that time. Just wanted to make a couple of points before going:

1. Matty, I'm afraid you'll have to channel my curmudgeonliness again. Hope it isn't too painful for you.

2. Skins MUST win Sunday at Detroit and again next week at home against the Bengals. They need momentum and some positive energy because after that they have four difficult assignments with no "break in the action":

a. At Philly
b. At Pitts
c. Giants here
d. Philly here

3. Two wins in the next two games and a split of those 4 monsters will give them 6 wins with only one potentially tough game left. That's how they can still sneak into the playoff picture.

But if the Skins lose to either Detroit or Cincy, I'm afraid they can forget the playoffs and they will need to start to focus on how they are going to make a big splash in March and win the off-season one more time.
