Cowboys coach Wade Phillips, who never says anything mildly controversial, jumped out of character and provided the Giants with some great bulletin-board material this week. Speaking to high school and youth football coaches in the Dallas area about the Cowboys, Phillips blurted out, "Get your ring finger ready, that's right."

While every team in the NFL has aspirations to win the SB this year, it's probably a little aggressive for Wade Phillips to call his shot. I guess the Gmen aren't too happy about it.
