Given the nature of the sport, it's unusual for this type of injury, in so much as most injuries occur through face to face challenges. Even tackling from behind is unlikely to impart an impact injury on the rear of the calf. It was just one of those things with JT.

As to pads for calves? Please tell me that's not a serious question?
