Again, if science is put into an unquestioned pedestal, as many -but not all, climate change activists do, it becomes a dangerous tool for political means.

the neighbor on the street recycles, why? because its good for the environment. But now an equally cynical power arises, if a politician encourages recycling, than an opponent who doesnt -maybe on an economic principle, than the pro recycling politician is also pro world and the anti recycling opponent favors killing the world. but really what happens is no one is in favor of killing the world so now, rather than stand on a sound principle the opponent is forced to accept, and try to minimize what in principle they are against. This method can be used effectively until the underlying "science" is no longer questioned, because to question it, is to attack the global climate.
