If it's not obvious, the main reason Hall is picked on is the same reason guys like Doughty get treated with kid gloves; nobody likes a guy who runs his mouth and then plays badly. Everyone likes a guy who keeps quiet and tries hard, even if he comes up short.

There's a difference between fans criticizing a guy like Hall (like most of us), and then there are the people that go out of their way to bash or defend Hall. I think at least one thread has been locked in the past b/c of this somewhat tiring debate about Hall.

I am by no way defending Hall, he makes tons of mistakes, including letting Bryant get a big possession. And he runs his mouth too much and needs to STFU. But personally I don't think he is worth multiple threads. People just loooove to complain I guess.
