I'm going to pass on the GJ report because it'll probably infuriate me that much more. Without a doubt Paterno thinks he's bigger than the whole scandal, and he's doing this for selfish reasons. He wants to do what's right for the school, then he would indeed step down and not coach ever again.

Do you really think Joe thinks much at all anymore? I mean, that whole scene in his yard last night was so bizarre. An asinine move by the fans, and when Joe came out and talked he sounded so out of it and detached. I'd say his statements to the media, and pretty much everything else is being dictated by his son at this point.

I don't think Joe thinks he's bigger than the scandal. I simply think he has absolutely zero idea how to handle something like this. I'm not making excuses for his lack of action when he found out about the abuses, I'm only talking about how he's acted since it all came out this week.
