I retract my early vote for Shanahan.

Now that he's blatantly acting in the best interests of the team to screw with Snyder...forget him.

I had previously held to the idea of seeing what he could do with a full salary cap...well you've burned that bridge, Mike. Please leave.

I'm not sold on Briles. I'm not sold on Chip Kelly's recent streak of success. This division's weakness is the only reason they're sitting on top right now and I do not believe he'll have long-term success...so trying to replicate what Philadelphia is doing is not the right move. The only reason to bring in Briles is to make Griffin's job easier, but I also think that would hold him back from developing into the pro QB he needs to become for a long career.

I've always liked Jon Gruden but I'm not sure I trust him after his recent comments that Cousins should be playing. I still maintain the best thing for Robert right now is reps.

Bill O'Brien is intriguing. I am stuck here in the middle of Paterno country and I really thought Penn State would be really harmed by the NCAA sanctions and reduced scholarships. O'Brien has done an incredible job with the team who was playing at a competitive disadvantage, something Shanahan could not do wit the salary cap penalty. He also has pro experience with Belichick, which is invaluable.

Jay Gruden is an outstanding choice, but I also think we need to bring in a defensive-minded coach like Lovie Smith. I'm fine with Jay as HC if we can bring in a top defensive coordinator. I don't know if Lovie would settle for a DC job with other teams like Houston probably pursuing him for a top job, but landing both Jay Gruden as HC and Lovie Smith as DC would be the best possible scenario to me.

Ken Wisenhunt could be a good choice.

I'd trust Singletary as a DC, but not HC.

Sumlin could be a good choice to help develop Griffin into a pro QB.

Aaron Kromer has had great sucess at building offensive lines, which is one of our greatest needs.
