Do think Goodell and the NFL office should just take the word of the accused and the team that benefits from not suspending the accused?
Even if they misled Goodell and NFL, it is the job and responsibility of the Goodell/NFL to perform a thorough investigation and not rely on the WORD of others. Of course RIce and Ravens are going to try and protect their own. I almost expect that. But for the League office to do the same is a crime. Goodell screwed the pooch. As more sponsors drop out, the NFL will realize it.
