My point was not that Wade would be Allen nepotism. Wade is AJ's call (thank goodness). But we still have some NFL good ole boy networking going on. Wade is a long-term homie of AJ, AJ is a long-term homie of Allen.

I like the Wade hiring. But the process smacks of the same that lands us in last place every year.

Given the way that this team has been run lately, I think everyone should be a little suspicious, bothered, or concerned when jobs (like DC) are handed to someone through networks rather than an expansive competitive search. At any rate, I personally cannot blame anyone who calls for business to be done a different way.
