Fangio has done an excellent job especially the the last 2 years dealing with injuries and suspensions to navigate a defense that quite frankly kept them in most games where they should have been blown out.

Look at that wildly overrated San Fran offense and coach (Roman)...the reason San Fran has had success the last 5 year is the way the defense has played. Special teams has been decent as well.


I think from a resume perspective: Fangio, Jim Schartz and Wade Phillips should the be choices.

This. Jed York is probably a little in over his head. Anyone remember what the 49ers were like before Harbaugh got there? Mike Singletary and Mike Nolan? They were changing coordinators every year. I think they're going to really regret letting him walk.
